Who wrote the Bible?
Some say it was written by many people over many centuries.
Others contend it is just an ancient collection of myths, stories,
and traditions passed down over time that has some good things to
say like 'Love Your Neighbor,' 'Do Not Judge,'
and 'God Is Love.'
But today, popular opinion and culture say the Bible is
wrong about a lot of things...but What Does The Bible Say??
- Sex outside of marriage
— Flee fornication. Every sin that a man does is outside the body;
but he that commits fornication sins against his own body.
- 1 Corinthians 6:18
- There are more than two genders. I can identify
with whatever sex I want to be
— But from the beginning of the creation
God made them male and female.
- Mark 10:6
- Abortion is OK
— Before I formed you in the womb I knew you,
and before you were born I consecrated you
- Jeremiah 1:5
- Homosexuality is not a sin
— The unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God?
Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality
- 1 Corinthians 6:9
- Gay Marriage is Love
— Each man should have his own wife
and each woman her own husband
- 1 Corinthians 7:2
- Everything came out of nothing -
Evolution begat life
— For by him (i.e. God) were all things created,
that are in heaven, and that are in earth,
visible and invisible, whether they be thrones,
or dominions, or principalities, or powers:
all things were created by him, and for him
- Colossians 1:16
BUT! (You say) Jesus never said any of these things so that means they must be OK, RIGHT?!?
However THE BIBLE SAYS that “In the beginning was The Word,
and the Word was with God, And THE WORD WAS GOD” (John 1:1)
and that “Jesus (is) the AUTHOR and finisher of our faith”
(Hebrews 12:2) Therefore the author of ALL the Bible is God,
and Jesus is God, thus all the Bible says are Jesus' words,
not just what he said while on earth.
If instead all the popular beliefs of today are right,
then Jesus is wrong and the Bible is wrong.
