How Much Time
Do You Have
Left?

The famous football coach Vince Lombardi once said “We didn’t lose the game. We just ran out of time.” And just like in football there are only so many minutes in life before the game of life is over — and when it is over, it’s over. Then the question is...'Did I WIN or LOSE?'

From the time we are born up to our very last second, we have the option to use the time given to us as we will. As today’s scripture reminds us, we need to heed how wisely we redeem and use that time because again, once the clock strikes it’s closing second, it is over - and then we will either win or lose.

But what exactly does THAT mean?

Jesus said, “For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain (i.e. 'win') the whole world, and lose his own soul?” That is, our souls are easily lost in this life when we invest out time in the temporal (i.e. the here-and-now) and ignore the eternal.

Redeeming YOUR Time is the most important investment you can make before your clock runs out. As Hebrews 9:27 reminds us:

“It is appointed unto men once to die,
but after this the judgment.”

Friend, everyone’s clock in this life WILL run out. Be sure you redeem your time wisely and understand “...what the Lord wants you to do” and the victory you will win is ETERNAL LIFE.
