Two Opposite Things
Cannot Both Be
True

“Pilate saith unto him (Jesus),
WHAT IS TRUTH?
And when he had said this,
he went out again unto the Jews,
and saith unto them,
I find in him no fault at all.”

John 18:38

contradictions When Christ was brought before Pontius Pilate under the ruse that Jesus was a criminal, he was faced with a dilemma. On one hand there was an angry crowd claiming he was dangerous and a threat to the nation, yet in talking to Jesus he saw no menace in the man. So which conclusion was true?

The same dilemma exists in people’s minds today about Jesus. Either he was simply a wise man, great teacher, and example of good to others like Mohamed, Buddha, Confucius and other religious leaders, or he was God made man (Immanuel: “God is with us”) and the LORD and Saviour of the world. It’s either one or the other, because either he’s no different than these other well-known spirit philosophers or he is God and divine. He can’t be both.

All of us likewise must make that distinction. Both cannot be true.

If he is just another great teacher and moral example than pick the one that is most reasonable of the group to you, but if he is in fact the only one that raised from the dead, conquered the grave and is offering eternal life, what are you going to do with that?

The question remains — WHAT IS TRUTH? Is it Christ or something else?

You Decide.
