The Difference Between
HEREing & HEARing

The world is a noisy place! We are continually bombarded from sounds all around us as small as the beep of a text message, to as large as the throbbing of city traffic — and a million others sounds in between. As long as you are HERE on earth there will always be this constant background dissonance that interferes with our ability to HEAR the most important thing we need to listen to, and that is the quiet, still, and loving direction of the Holy Spirit speaking to your heart.

The problem for us in a 21st century world is the cacophony of the world, both unintentionally and intentionally that is tunneling into one ear while the other ear is the Holy Spirit (quietly!) speaking to you. However if you focus your attention to listening to all the sounds of the world, then you are allowing the world to mess with your soul and spirit! You see what you listen and pay attention to has a direct relationship with your perception of life and this world and who you are being mislead to think you are. Instead, God wants You to listen to HIM.

How do you do this? The best way to start is by simply opening your Bible and reading what He tells You. Then ask Him to guide You and spend quality time with Him and talk to Him — and He so loves for You to praise Him! Take 80% of your prayer time and glorify Him for all He has done for You and this world, and 20% of your time for your personal needs and others. Remember: THE LORD COMES FIRST!

Friend, God Almighty - the One who created YOU -  is speaking to You RIGHT NOW. HEAR what the Holy Spirit is saying to You:

Let the world go - Release it - Come to me
And I will teach you!
Listen to My still small voice I AM Wisdom I will teach you things you do not know
Come to me - I will give you rest - I will give you peace
Be still and sit still with me - Feel my presence
Become a 'real' listener - Listen to Me
Let the world go and Your ears will find me

Right NOW, and Right HERE is the Time to HEAR. God is speaking. Will you listen?
