Pray! Pray! Pray!
And
God Will Open Their Eyes

If you are like me, you may have a friend or family member whom you love dearly but are stubborn as a mule about believing there is God or that Jesus died for them. No matter how hard we try to set a good example of living the Christian life and sharing our faith in Christ and they ignore it, we scratch our heads and wonder, “Lord, why do they continue to turn away from You?” I’m often deeply frustrated about my friends and family’s salvation so the question is, “How does that happen?!?”

Well one problem is that so many people are focused on “self”, materialism and an attitude that because they are a “good” person that they will go to heaven anyway, so they think - “Why even bother with this 'Being SAVED' business?” Others follow the new age concept that there are lots of routes to heaven, going about life as though the thought of ever dying rarely, if ever comes to mind, but the real reason is that people have been blinded by Satan. He is the one who deceives them by putting blinders on their eyes - and he is doing a great job of blocking their perception from the true light of Christ.

Our job as Christians is to interfere with the satanic forces by interceding in prayer for their blinders to be removed. We are all called to share the good news of the gospel and we have been given the spiritual authority to pray into circumstances and situations to change that will bring them into contact with the Lord.

If you want to see those that you love saved, don’t give up praying for them!” Pray for the spiritual blinders to be supernaturally removed so that the truth of God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit will be crystal clear! So pray! Pray! PRAY! for the ones we have been given to open their eyes to see Jesus and their blinders will be removed!
