Why You Should Say
‘I Love You’
More Often

“Let’s not merely say
that we love each other,
Let us show it by our actions.”

1 John 3:18

giving-love Ah, it’s February, that special month many of us anticipate to celebrate our sweethearts with valentine candy, flowers or romantic surprises to express our love and affections.

Have you ever stopped to think how saying ‘I love you’ is just a three word sentence, but the message is packed with so much power? It can turn the tides, save a collapsing relationship, or stop someone who has decided to walk away. These three little words can calm defenses or offenses, mend the crack in a broken marriage, and make bonds stronger than ever.

Saying ‘I love you’ breaks communication gaps opening our hearts to become receptive and responsive to each other. It can restore faith in and trust each other. It gives each other a sense of security and hope for a future together. Saying ‘I love you’ has an everlasting effect.

Every single day God gives us an opportunity to express our love in a myriad of ways. Nothing is more beautiful or more assuring to hear than “I Love You’ from someone who means so much to you.

Try expressing more often these three little words ‘I Love You’ during this entire month and especially this Valentine’s Day and make it a ritual throughout the year!

God Bless Your Day
Jesus Loves You
