To Make
One Thing CLEAN
Something Else
Must Get DIRTY

“Though your sins be as scarlet,
they shall be as white as snow;
though they be red like crimson,
they shall be as wool.”

Isaiah 1:18

One morning I spilled coffee all over the kitchen counter and reached for a bright white cotton towel to clean it up. In one swipe the counter was then clean and dry, but now a pristine towel had a dark stain on it.

In others words, in order for the counter to get clean - something had to get dirty.

Sin in our lives is like that too. Our souls are darkened with the crimson stain of sin and nothing can clean it unless something else “get’s dirty.” Fortunately that “Something Else” is the Crimson Blood of Christ.

The Bible says in Hebrews 9:14 “How much more will the blood of Christ … cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?” At the cross, Jesus “(Sanctified) the people through His own blood” That word (sanctify) means to make clean and holy. It was his blood that transferred the crimson stain off of you and onto him:

“ For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin;
that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. ”

2 Corinthians 5:21

If you are not a Christian, if your soul has not been made “White as Snow“ then ask God today to do so. Accept what he has done and let him to wipe your slate clean. He will do it gladly in ONE SWIPE - but he will not do so unless you ask him. Will you do so right now?
