See With The Eyes of Jesus

“Blessed are your eyes because they see, and
blessed are your ears because they do hear.”

Matthew 13:6

What do you you see when you look at others? Are your thoughts positive and non-judgmental? Are they negative, critical or maybe even a bit jealous?

When we truly open our eyes and look through the eyes of Jesus, we become blind to the faults or weaknesses of another. We begin to open our hearts and minds to the compassion of Jesus, who is full of love and mercy for each of us. How very important it is for us to pray and ask the Holy Spirit to let us see everyone through the eyes of Jesus. When we do this kind of praying, we will have not one negative thought or reaction toward a person. If we all practiced even this one wonderful character trait of Jesus what a wonderful world this would be! Jesus sees all of us as His creation, and He loves even those who don't know yet who He is, so no matter where someone is in their spiritual growth we are to honor that person.
