Is it Still Possible
to “Discover Christ?”

”And ye shall seek me, and find me,
when ye shall search for me
with all your heart.”

Jeremiah 29:13

Once Peter the Fisherman discovered Christ, miracles happened before His eyes and changed his life. For Thomas putting his hands into the nail holes in Christ's hand and side, it meant that he would discover for certain that Jesus was in fact God, and that he had indeed risen from the dead. When the Pharisee Saul discovered him in the blinding light of Glory on the road to Damascus, the to be transformed Apostle Paul put all his traditional religious experience behind him, and would learn to follow Christ and die daily to himself.

In Israel there was a custom that when a rabbi said, "follow me," you would follow him and carry his burdens, but Jesus turned that around. When He said "Follow Me”, He Himself carried our burdens all the way to the cross. He is therefore more than able to carry us through every situation to victory.

People in ancient times “discovered him” when they walked with Jesus, and that same Jesus is here with us TODAY when we experience hard decisions, confusion, sickness, death of a loved one, depression or fear. Jesus understands every human need, because he was human, too. He can still be DISCOVERED TODAY. Jesus tells how when he said,

“My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.”
John 10:27

Have you heard his voice and discovered Him? He is asking you to...if you are listening. If not, why not ask Him to come into your life as your Lord and Savior today?
