You Create Your Own Atmosphere

“...and when they lifted up their voice with their
trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music,
and praised the LORD, saying, For he is good;
for his mercy endureth for ever: then the house
was filled with a cloud, even the house of the LORD;
so that the priests could not stand to minister by
reason of the cloud: for the glory of the LORD
had filled the house of God.”

2 Chronicles 5:13-14

(The cloud in this passage is referring to the atmosphere created because of praise to God.)

What Kind Of Atmosphere Do You Create?

No doubt, life today is demanding. We live in a stressed out world often being pulled here and there with hardly a moment to take in a relaxed breath. You know what I mean. There’s a dead line to meet…children’s schedules…someone needs your attention or an urgent problem solved right now…bills to pay, taxes, groceries, the mortgage and on and on we go…

Make it your business to be conscientiously aware of your own atmosphere and how it not only affects your personal attitude, but how it affects others. Create an atmosphere that’s fragrant, pleasant, calm and peaceful no matter what is happening in your life. Remember that everything is temporary. Nothing is permanent no matter what it is! Don’t let little things bother you. Let them go and give the big things to Jesus. He has big shoulders to carry them for you. Enjoy your life. It’s the only one you will ever have.
