Check Your ATTITUDE!
Is It Full Of GRATITUDE?

“Above all else, guard your heart,
for everything you do flows from it.”

Proverbs 4:23

Did you know that when you have a good attitude you begin to notice that you have a real sense of gratitude? Ah yes, attitude and gratitude go together like twins. However, when your attitude is off center, maybe even a little on edge, or you just have the wrong attitude, you are not at peace. You not only upset yourself, but often those around you. That’s when it might be time for an attitude adjustment.

Having a positive attitude helps you cope more easily with life’s daily affairs. It brings optimism into your life, and it makes it easier to avoid worries and negative thinking. When you adopt a positive attitude, it will bring constructive changes into your life, and you will be happier, brighter and more successful.

To avoid the need for a personal attitude adjustment, here are some helpful positive Attitude Equals Gratitude Tips:

  • Find a favorite place alone to sit down and take in some deep, low breaths and relax.
  • Calm yourself and remember that everything in life is temporary.
  • Watch your words. Don’t be sorry for saying something you’ll regret.
  • It’s always good to say “Thank You” more frequently.
  • Surround yourself with positive people.
  • Don’t take yourself so seriously. Lighten up!
  • Ignore whiners and complainers.
  • Avoid angry or negative media.
  • Life is a gift. Think of all you have to be grateful for.

Take it from me, the best attitude adjustment when you know you are having a bad day is to whisper Thank You Jesus. He will hear you and rush right to your side. My friend, there is power in that name. When you say Jesus, a sense of peace will come flowing over you. The Lord Jesus will suddenly be your focus, not your attitude or circumstance. He is the name above All names. Then you will find yourself renewed and back on course.

“You will keep him in perfect peace,
Whose mind is stayed on You.”

Isaiah 26:3

“Great peace have those who love your law,
And nothing causes them to stumble.”

Psalm 119:165
