To Fit The Truth?

There’s an old saying that 'You can’t put a square peg in a round hole' (or vice versa!) — and that’s true! Yet this is exactly how some people morally live their lives.

On the contrary, the Apostle Paul instructs us in 1 Corinthians 2:16 (as does today’s scripture verse) that we are instead to have “The Mind Of Christ“ -- that is, to have our thinking be in alignment with God and His Word, and not “spoiled through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.” (Colossians 2:8)

In a world where we are constantly being bombarded on the web, television, and entertainment media it is very, very easy to have our perspectives on thinking and values 'bent' according to worldy values...and not Godly ones.

So friend, take a moment and ask yourself...

Are you BENDING the Truth To Fit Your Life (or) BENDING Your Life To Fit God’s Truth?
